According to the most recent national AARP survey, the majority (75%) of people aged 50 and older prefer to remain in their current homes as they age. That feels intuitively true! However most respondents indicated concern they would need to move in the future due to uncertainty of which modifications may need to be made, such as adaptations to the bathroom, kitchen, home entry, or household lighting.​
